The big plan for this summer is to sell our current house and buy a new one. Yesterday, we met with our realtor for the first time. This whole process is made infinitely more complicated because of the twins, so I’ll keep a ongoing log of our progress.
The reason for the move is basically to live twenty miles closer to the grandparents. The goal is for the grandparents to be able to pick the kids up after school instead of having to rely on a babysitter to get the kids, or school aftercare. The downside is that both Bernard’s and my commute to work will be worse, and with the gas prices the way they are, I’m really dreading this. The upside is that we’re moving inland, away from the coast, where properties are a lot cheaper, so we may be able to move into a house double the size of our current house!
