Waiting to Eat
We've been trying to go out for lunch at least a couple times a month. We pick a Saturday, feed the girls, and pack them up in their carseats to head out to one of the many lunch places we used to frequent. We went to "Peter's Place," which is a small Chinese lunch place where we get dishes like beef noodle soup. We hadn't been to Peter's Place since before the girls were born. Unfortunately, this time, Miranda just didn't want to cooperate. She didn't feel like sitting quietly in her carseat while we ate. Here, Agnes is thinking, "you're not going to let me eat, are you?" Indeed, it wasn't until I finished eating and could hold Miranda that Agnes could have her wonton soup.
