Job search over. June 30th is my last day of residency. July 1st, I’ll be a full-fledged pediatric neurologist at the same hospital where I did my training. It’s an academic position so I will be seeing patients in clinic, in the hospital, teaching residents, and doing research. I started waking up at 5:30 am to run. It’s the only feasible time to do anything since the kids are up by 6:30 am. Unless I wake up at 5 am, I only have time for a brief run, hence the “1.54 mile” runs that are on my running log.
